We’re looking for a Quality Control Specialist to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the quality, accuracy and compliance of member servicing activities. Acting as a subject matter expert, you will monitor operational processes, provide quality insights, and partner with leaders to enhance member outcomes, strengthen capability, and drive continuous improvement across the business.
What you'll be doing
- Monitor, review and score member interactions and operational transactions against quality standards, ensuring compliance with agreed processes, legislative requirements and fund expectations.
- Partner with Team Leaders and Service Quality Leads to provide timely quality feedback, support rework activities, and identify opportunities to improve individual and team performance.
- Investigate quality anomalies, manage escalations, raise incidents where required, and contribute to risk management and quality assurance reporting activities.
- Develop and maintain quality control plans, accurately capture quality activities in relevant systems, and provide insights to stakeholders on quality trends and outcomes.
- Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service quality, operational efficiency, training effectiveness and the overall member experience.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring quality-related communications, process updates and regulatory changes are effectively shared and understood.
- Support cross-skilling and capability development within teams, contributing to a high-performance culture focused on learning, customer centricity and operational excellence.
What you'll bring
We’d love to hear from you if you bring some of the following:
- Experience in quality assurance, operational quality control or a similar role within superannuation, financial services, insurance or a regulated environment.
- An understanding of superannuation legislation, industry requirements and quality compliance frameworks.
- Strong analytical, investigation and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Well-developed communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and influence positive outcomes.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and business systems, with a proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and delivering outstanding customer outcomes.
