Care Point Allied Health is a registered NDIS provider looking for an enthusiastic and caring Occupational Therapist to join our growing allied health team at our Auburn clinic.
We are flexible and open to contractor, casual or permanent part-time arrangements, depending on your experience, availability and preference.
New graduate Occupational Therapists are strongly encouraged to apply.
About the Role
You will work with NDIS participants to improve independence, functional capacity and participation in everyday life.
Your role may include:
- Conducting functional assessments
- Completing Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA)
- Assessing activities of daily living and independence
- Developing individualised therapy and intervention plans
- Supporting participants with daily living skills
- Assessing and recommending assistive technology
- Providing recommendations for home modifications where appropriate
- Supporting sensory, emotional regulation and functional needs
- Working with children and adults with a range of disabilities
- Preparing NDIS progress reports, assessment reports and recommendations
- Maintaining clear and professional clinical notes
- Working collaboratively with participants, families, carers, Support Coordinators and other allied health professionals
About You
We welcome applications from experienced OTs and new graduates.
You will require:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration or eligibility to obtain registration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A person-centred approach
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Current Australian driver's licence preferred
Previous NDIS experience is desirable but not essential.
