Construction Manager – Electrical Infrastructure

Your New Role
As a Construction Manager – Electrical Infrastructure , you will lead the successful delivery of major projects across land development, subdivisions, Transport and Main Roads (TMR) works, and emerging renewable/BESS sectors.
You’ll take ownership of project execution from planning through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards .
In this role, you will:
- Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams , including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
- Oversee delivery of electrical infrastructure projects , including subdivisions, TMR lighting, ITS and road infrastructure works
- Manage project programs, budgets, and resources to ensure optimal performance
- Drive safety, quality, and compliance across all project phases
- Liaise with key stakeholders including clients, councils, TMR, and utility providers (e.g. Energex/Ergon)
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring minimal disruption to delivery
- Support procurement, subcontractor management, and site mobilisation activities
- Ensure strong governance across technical, commercial, and contractual requirements
- Lead project teams to achieve efficient delivery and continuous improvement outcomes
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or Senior Project Manager within electrical infrastructure
- Strong background in land development, subdivisions, and/or TMR electrical/lighting projects
- Exposure to renewable energy or BESS projects highly regarded
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, complex construction projects end-to-end
- Strong understanding of Australian standards, TMR specifications, and local authority requirements
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, contracts, and project profitability
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset with the ability to drive high-performing teams
- Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management (preferred)
