Care Partners Australia is currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Female Disability Support Worker to provide high-quality in-home and community support for a valued NDIS participant located in Rosedale, Victoria.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a genuine difference in someone's daily life while providing person-centred care with dignity and respect.
Shift Details
- Location: Rosedale, VIC
- Employment Type: Casual
- Days: Monday & Thursday
- Hours: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM (3-hour shifts)
About the Role
You will be supporting a female participant with her daily living needs, including:
- Personal care, including showering and personal hygiene assistance.
- Assisting with changing dressings as part of the participant's established care routine (training and guidance will be provided where appropriate).
- Community access, including transporting the participant to medical appointments and local pharmacies to collect medications.
- Providing safe mobility support and assisting with transferring mobility equipment.
- Delivering compassionate, respectful, and person-centred support.
Essential Requirements
- Certificate III in Individual Support, or equivalent qualification
- Female Support Worker (participant preference).
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain if required).
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
- Fully insured and reliable vehicle.
Highly Desirable
Due to the participant's mobility requirements, applicants with a larger vehicle (SUV, wagon, ute with canopy, or similar) that can comfortably accommodate mobility equipment are strongly preferred.
