In this role, you'll:
Deliver exceptional customer service, undertaking a broad range of station functions and assist with enquiries, travel bookings and connecting services. Be responsible for the presentation and maintenance of the station, as well as assisting with luggage for the regional services. Work alongside our train crew and other stakeholders ensuring safety standards are met and proactively seeking opportunities to minimise potential risks that may arise.
This full-time relief Senior Customer Attendant position will require you to work autonomously on a rotating roster that includes day and night shifts, weekends, and public holidays. While your Home Depot will be Bathurst, you will also support station operations across the Orange cluster, including Blayney, Orange, and Parkes.
There may also be occasions where additional hours are required at short notice, depending on business needs.
The full-time rate of pay for this position is $1,433.25 per week, including the Industry Allowance. In addition, you will also receive superannuation and annual leave loading benefits.
A Talent Pool will be created for current and future temporary and permanent, full-time, and part-time positions at Bathurst, Orange, Parkes and Blayney Stations over the next 18-month period. If you are deemed suitable at interview and a vacancy arises, you may be contacted and asked to complete pre-employment checks.

About you
You are enthusiastic and have a passion to work within your local community; you have the experience to work on the frontline and be the first point of contact when our passengers arrive at the station.
You are resilient and have outstanding interpersonal skills to provide clear and accurate instructions and can manage difficult conversations with a diverse range of people from all walks of life.
You are proactive and confident to make prompt decisions whilst working in a safety focused operational environment.
To support operational requirements, a valid driver's licence and access to own reliable transport are preferred.
