About the Role
Reporting to National Manager - Clinical, Safeguarding & Quality and part of the Quality and Safeguards Leadership team, you will take the lead in maintaining the organisation’s accreditation and compliance with all current and future sector standards, legislation, mandatory requirements.
This will be achieved by conducting regular internal audits of all operational departments against accreditations standards, managing external audits, complaints management reporting and by incorporating changes and improvements in organisational policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities will include:

Audit, Risk and Compliance
-
Conduct internal audits according to schedule and provide reports to relevant business units

Review and develop audit tools and schedules
-
Ensure operational compliance within the quality and compliance framework

Compile action plan reports on nonconformities or continuous improvements
-
Coordinate the process for engaging and facilitating the external audits
-
Review and develop company policies, procedures, and work instructions
-
Provide monthly reports across Audit, Incidents, Complaints, Risk, Quality, RTW and Compliance

Manage incident reporting by coordinating the handling of incidents

Management and Leadership
-
Build and maintain relationships with internal staff
-
Training, mentoring and development of management and staff to ensure compliance and standards

Lead by example and actively promote the ONCALL values and vision
About You
You will bring proven experience in a similar role that has incorporated audit, quality, compliance, and WorkCover policy development. With exceptional communication skills and a proactive mindset, you will succeed in working collaboratively across teams to embed quality and safeguarding practices in ways that are practical, engaging, and genuinely valued by our teams.
You will bring:

Relevant tertiary qualifications that demonstrates knowledge and skills incorporating auditing, compliance and policy development

Current knowledge of the NDIS, DHHS regulatory framework and its legislative requirements

Experience across all aspects of audit and quality processes, risk management and reporting

Experience in writing and developing and reviewing company policies and procedures in line with legislative requirements

Capacity to improve and develop company systems and procedures
-
Outstanding stakeholder engagement and relationship-management skills
-
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
-
Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities
-
Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications

Current Driver's Licence
-
Ability to travel intrastate and interstate as required
