What your day could look like
You'll be part of a close-knit, purpose-driven team helping people navigate the immediate impact of trauma. In a role where trust, empathy and clinical expertise come together, you'll create space for healing while helping shape services that respond to real community needs.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
Providing calm, trauma-informed support that helps individuals feel safe, heard and supported in the moments that matter most
Partnering with emergency, health and community teams to ensure care is connected, respectful and centred around each person
Using your clinical insight to guide thoughtful decisions across complex situations, building confidence in both patients and colleagues
Shaping and improving how care is delivered, contributing to a service that continues to grow, adapt and meet community needs
Let's talk about you!
You're someone who leads with compassion and acts with integrity, even in the most sensitive and complex situations. You understand the power of feeling seen and heard, and you bring a steady, thoughtful presence that helps others find their footing again. You value connection- whether it's with patients, colleagues or the broader community- and you're motivated by work that has real meaning and lasting impact.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
Registration as a Psychologist (AHPRA) or eligibility for Social Work membership with a recognised professional body
Strong experience delivering trauma-informed, person-centred care in complex or acute environments
The ability to communicate with empathy and clarity, building trust across diverse people and services
Confidence to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative, values-led team
You'll stand out if you bring experience in crisis or sexual assault response, training in trauma-focused approaches or clinical supervision.
Most importantly, you're drawn to work that makes a difference. You value dignity, show courage in challenges, and are open to learning, growing and helping others do the same.
This is more than a role, it's a chance to build a meaningful career while embracing a lifestyle grounded in community, connection and purpose.
