Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-driven Inventory Analyst to join our Group Operations team based in Tullamarine.
This is a critical role supporting Bapcor’s ongoing transformation, as we consolidate multiple warehouse operations into centralised distribution centres. You will play a key role in aligning and modelling inventory data across multiple systems to create a single, accurate and efficient view of inventory.
This position offers a unique opportunity to influence how inventory is managed at scale across the business, with a strong focus on data accuracy, system integration and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Data & Systems

Perform inventory data matching and conversion across multiple systems into a consolidated ERP environment

Ensure data accuracy and integrity, including identifying and resolving duplicate SKUs

Develop a strong understanding of inventory management systems (ERP, WMS, forecasting tools)
Analysis & Reporting

Provide detailed inventory analysis including stock levels, excess stock, supplier lead times and slow-moving inventory (SLOBs)

Build and maintain reporting on key metrics such as stock availability, stock turns, supply rate and stock cover

Develop and maintain inventory Pareto analysis
Process Improvement & Governance

Support the development and implementation of inventory data standards, policies and procedures

Work closely with stakeholders to improve processes and ensure alignment with business requirements

Ensure all inventory-related processes meet governance and compliance standards
Project & Stakeholder Support

Partner with IT, Demand Planning, Operations and DC teams to support system integrations and data consolidation

Contribute to key transformation projects within a fast-paced and evolving environment

Key Skills & Experience

Experience in inventory analysis, data analysis, or business analysis

Strong understanding of inventory management principles

Experience working with ERP and/or WMS systems (e.g. Manhattan, MomentumPro – desirable)

Advanced Excel skills and exposure to SQL or BI reporting tools

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets

Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams

Ability to adapt and perform in a fast-changing environment
Highly Regarded

Experience within automotive, logistics, or supply chain industries

Exposure to inventory optimisation or forecasting tools

Continuous improvement experience (Lean, Six Sigma or similar)
