We are seeking an experienced ICT Business Analyst to join our dynamic team.
Position Summary:
The ICT Business Analyst will work closely with clients, business stakeholders, project managers, and software development teams to analyse business requirements and develop technology solutions that improve business processes and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Consult with clients and stakeholders to identify, analyse and document business requirements.
Conduct detailed business process analysis and recommend ICT solutions to improve business performance.
Elicit, validate and prioritise functional and non-functional requirements.
Prepare business requirements documents, functional specifications, workflow diagrams, process models and user stories.
Liaise with software developers, solution architects and testers throughout the software development lifecycle.
Evaluate existing ICT systems and recommend enhancements, upgrades and process improvements.
Participate in solution design workshops and provide business analysis support during implementation.
Develop use cases, acceptance criteria and assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Analyse system performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Assist with change management activities, user training and preparation of system documentation.
Support project planning, risk identification and project delivery to ensure business objectives are achieved.
Ensure ICT solutions comply with organisational standards, quality requirements and client expectations.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Information Systems or a related discipline.
Minimum one year of relevant experience as an ICT Business Analyst or in a similar role.
Demonstrated experience in business requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience preparing functional specifications and business process documentation.
Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Skills
Experience with ERP, CRM or enterprise software implementations.
Knowledge of SQL, data analysis and reporting tools.
Experience using Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio or similar business analysis tools.
