Iolar Operational Services (IOS) is seeking to engage an experienced individual to work mainly as a Resource Recovery Centre Attendant and when required operate plant at the six (6) Resource Recovery Centre (RRC) facilities on the Sunshine Coast. IOS manage and operate the resource recovery and bulk stockpile area of this site on behalf of Council.
Preferred skills include:
- Competency / ticket to operate Schaffer loader & Excavator is desirable.
- Good customer service and experience with dealing with challenging situations.
- Computer/tablet and mobile phone literate.
- Willingness and capability to work outside and undertake labouring activities.
- Waste management experience is desirable.
- Workplace Health and Safety knowledge and experience in the implementation of system requirements.
Location: main site Witta and Beerwah. With other works at Mapleton, Yandina, Kenilworth, & Nambour RRCs as required
Job Status: Casual.
Days of Work: Weekdays and weekends, with a minimum of 3 days work
Hours of Work: from 7.5 hours / day
Pay Rates: Weekdays from: 38.84 / hr, with weekends starting from $49.71/hr (in accordance with the Waste Management Award and relevant classification).
Fixed Term Contract: Fixed term, to 31st October 2027
