Based in our Sydney office and reporting to the People & Culture Manager, the P&C Advisor will provide hands-on, day-to-day People & Culture support to IREN's corporate functions. This is a great opportunity for an HR professional with a solid grounding in the fundamentals to broaden their experience across the full employee lifecycle in a fast-growing, global business.
Working closely with the People & Culture Manager and the wider team, the P&C Advisor will support onboarding, employee queries, HR administration and coordination of people programs, while building strong relationships with employees and managers across the corporate teams they support.

Approximately 3–5 years of HR experience, ideally as an HR Coordinator, HR Officer or P&C Advisor, with exposure across the employee lifecycle.
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Working knowledge of Australian employment practices, including the Fair Work framework, National Employment Standards, modern awards and superannuation.
Solid HR administration skills with strong attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy and confidentiality.
Experience with HRIS and/or payroll systems and proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams).
Strong written and verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable, service-oriented manner.
Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive, collaborative team player who is eager to learn, take on new responsibilities and grow their HR career.

Provide first-line People & Culture support to employees and managers across the corporate functions, responding to day-to-day queries and escalating complex matters to the People & Culture Manager.
Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding experience for new starters, including documentation, system setup, inductions and first-week logistics.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR data in the HRIS (HiBob) and payroll systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Support core People & Culture processes throughout the employee lifecycle, including changes to employment, probation tracking, leave administration and offboarding.
Prepare HR documentation such as contracts, letters and templates, using approved formats and with guidance from the People & Culture Manager.
Assist with the coordination and administration of people programs, including performance review cycles, engagement initiatives and training logistics.
Support recruitment activity in partnership with Talent Acquisition, including scheduling, candidate coordination and pre-employment checks.
Help ensure People & Culture practices are consistent with Australian employment legislation, modern awards and IREN policies, seeking guidance where needed.
Contribute to continuous improvement by helping document, streamline and maintain People & Culture processes and knowledge resources.
Partner with People & Culture colleagues globally to ensure consistent and seamless execution of people processes and programs.
