Seamless Interior Linings is looking for a motivated Apprentice Plasterer to join our growing team.
We specialise in high-end residential plastering and architectural interior linings throughout Sydney. Our work includes premium new homes, major renovations, suspended ceilings, detailed architectural features, ornate cornices and specialist finishes.
This is an opportunity to learn the plastering trade properly while working alongside experienced tradesmen on some of Sydney’s highest-quality residential projects.
We welcome applications from new apprentices, existing apprentices looking to transfer and mature-age applicants.
What You’ll Learn
You will receive hands-on training across all aspects of the plastering trade, including:
- Plasterboard wall and ceiling installation
- Setting, sanding and finishing
- Suspended ceiling systems
- Bulkheads, pelmets and architectural details
- Square-set and shadow-line finishes
- Curved, raked and feature ceilings
- Wet-area and fibre-cement linings
- Acoustic and fire-rated systems
- Cornices, mouldings and decorative features
- Level 4 and Level 5 finishes
- Reading plans and understanding construction details
- Safe operation of tools and equipment
- Correct site preparation, protection and clean-up
- Microcement and Venetian plaster application

What We’re Looking For
Previous plastering experience is not essential. Your attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are the most important things.
The successful applicant will:
- Be genuinely interested in learning the plastering trade
- Be reliable, punctual and ready to work
- Take pride in doing things properly
- Listen to instructions and accept constructive feedback
- Be physically capable of undertaking construction work
- Work well within a team
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Show respect toward clients, builders, supervisors and other trades
- Be willing to attend TAFE and complete the required coursework
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Construction White Card
- Have reliable transport to reach different job sites
- Be legally entitled to work in Australia
A current driver’s licence is preferred. Applicants working toward obtaining their licence will also be considered.
Existing apprentices should include details of their completed apprenticeship stage and previous work experience.
