About the role:
As a Manager of Development and Improvement, you will lead a program to strengthen payroll capability and deliver high-quality, consistent services across Payroll Transactional Services (PTS). The role provides strategic leadership in training, quality assurance, risk management, audit, change, and communication, ensuring effective implementation of continuous improvement and operational frameworks.
You will oversee the payroll knowledgebase, including content management systems and ensuring they meet accessibility and usability standards and drive improvements that enhance workforce capability, operational compliance, and service delivery, responding proactively to legislative, industrial, and evolving business requirements.
Your key responsibilities include:
Lead and manage a high-performing team delivering business change, training, communication, quality assurance, and compliance, ensuring performance meets agreed objectives and service standards.
Monitor, analyse, and improve service delivery performance, using data-driven insights to address risks, inefficiencies, and emerging issues while driving outcomes aligned to the Operational Plan.
Establish and maintain governance frameworks across training, quality assurance, risk management, audit, and change, ensuring consistent, controlled, and compliant payroll operations.
Manage and oversee projects and change initiatives, ensuring effective planning, resource management, and proactive risk and issue management in a complex environment.
Build workforce capability and embed contemporary learning approaches, fostering continuous improvement and innovation to deliver high-quality, compliant, and client-focused payroll services.
