About the Role
As a Senior Case Management Officer, you’ll provide high-quality, strengths-based support across a diverse caseload. You’ll work closely with job seekers to set and achieve meaningful employment goals, using culturally appropriate, person-centred approaches. Your focus will be on helping individuals overcome barriers and connecting them with the right programs and supports to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver strengths-based, culturally safe case management to support job seekers in achieving employment, training or education goals.
- Identify and address employment barriers through tailored support,referrals, and community connections.
Develop and regularly update individual Job Plans aligned with client goals and progress, while accurately recording all client interactions, outcomes, and compliance requirements in the data system through detailed and comprehensive case notes.

Collaborate with internal teams, community projects, and external stakeholders to deliver coordinated support.
- Support job seekers to become job-ready by assisting with resumes,documentation, and employment requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
-
Strong written and technical communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using databases to produce clear, accurate, and professional documentation and case notes.
- Certificate IV in Employment Services (or equivalent) or willingness to obtain.
- Experience supporting clients with complex needs (e.g. disability, substance use, homelessness, domestic violence, or mental health challenges).
- Proven ability to engage and work respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and organisations.
- Understanding of the social and economic challenges in rural and remote communities, with the ability to deliver creative, flexible case management solutions for disadvantaged job seekers.
Desirable:

Experience working in remote/regional communities, particularly with Aboriginal communities
- Knowledge of local labour markets and employment programs
- Mentoring or leadership experience within human services
- Experience using case management systems and reporting tools
Other Requirements:

A current C class motor vehicle license
- National police check (or willingness to obtain)
- Western Australian Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
