About the role
You’ll help ensure Hydro Tasmania meets its creditor obligations through accurate and timely accounts payable processing. Working as part of a collaborative Finance team, you'll manage invoices, supplier queries, reconciliations, reporting, and payment activities while maintaining compliance with company policies and systems. Beyond transactional processing, you'll support business stakeholders, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and help build capability across the organisation through process education and knowledge sharing. This is an opportunity to combine technical finance skills with problem solving, customer service, and process improvement in a business that powers Tasmania's renewable energy future.
As part of our commitment to flexible work, we're open to discussing part-time arrangements, with a minimum availability of four days per week or five days at reduced hours.
Salary range $76,097.00 – $93,950.00 plus super

Key responsibilities
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and on time
- Monitor aged creditors and resolve outstanding invoices
- Investigate and resolve supplier queries end-to-end
- Maintain invoice matching integrity and payment schedules
- Deliver reporting, reconciliations and compliance activities
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities

Skills & experience
- Experience in accounts payable processing
- Knowledge of GST requirements for creditor invoices
- Experience reconciling creditor statements
- Proficiency with AP and invoice management systems
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
