As the People and Culture Coordinator, you will play an important role in attracting and supporting the people who keep our operations running at our Proserpine Mill.
You will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, writing engaging job ads, sourcing and engaging talent, partnering with hiring managers, and coordinating a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.
You will also provide on-site HR support, including timecard management in Kronos, assisting with workforce relations matters, responding to employee and leader queries, and helping maintain clear communication across the sites. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring roles are filled efficiently and with the right talent.
- Partner with site leaders to support workforce planning and operational needs.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records, systems, and documentation.
- Support the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance processes, and general HR administration.
- Contribute to a positive workplace culture by promoting best-practice HR processes and supporting leaders with day-to-day people matters.
About You
We are looking for someone who brings -
- A degree in Human Resources (or related field) or demonstrated recruitment experience, ideally within heavy industry, agriculture, or manufacturing.
- Strong experience sourcing and engaging talent in fast-paced operational environments.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work closely with leaders and candidates.
- A genuine passion for people and the ability to identify the right fit for both role and culture.
- Strong organisation and time management, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
