Primary objective
Provide high level administrative support to school stakeholders through the management of school front office functions and staff.
Administer, develop and maintain various student administration systems (including Student Administration Management System (SAMS),
Students Online (SOL), Student Achievement Information System (SAIS), Compass and Timetabling Solutions System (TTS).

Key duties and responsibilities
1. Lead and manage front office operations, ensuring effective administrative services, resource management, system use, adherence
to deadlines, attention to detail and strict confidentiality are maintained.
2. Manage front office staff performance and development, including professional growth plans, timesheets, probation, performance
reviews, recruitment, professional support and capability development.
3. Provide comprehensive support to students, parents and staff, including Compass assistance, events, enrolments, bookings, relief
coordination and administrative services.
4. As the senior first aid officer, provide first aid to students and staff, manage major injuries, accompany students to hospital when
required, complete incident forms, manage school vaccinations and front office requirements during evacuations and lockdowns.
5. Manage student administration systems and data including SOL, SAMS, TTS, Compass, eDash and related systems, ensuring accurate
records, enrolments, transfers, assessments, and reporting.
6. Generate, analyse and report data while improving systems and processes, maintaining data integrity, resolving issues, attending to
FOI enquires, meeting Departmental requirements and supporting staff training.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage front office operations, ensuring efficient administration, resource management, effective
system use, accuracy, confidentiality and adherence to deadlines.
2. Demonstrated ability to manage staff performance and development, including PGPs, probation, reviews and recruitment.
3. Demonstrated ability to provide effective administrative support to students, parents and staff, including enrolments, Compass, events,
bookings and relief coordination.
4. Demonstrated ability to manage student and staff health, safety and emergency procedures, including first aid, major injuries,
vaccinations, incident reporting, evacuations and lockdowns.
5. Demonstrated high level ability in the effective development, use and management of student management databases such as SAMS,
SOL, TTS, Compass and eDash or similar.with a thorough understanding of Senior Secondary school reporting requirements.
6. Demonstrated ability to analyse and report data accurately, improve systems and processes, maintain data integrity, resolve issues and
support staff training.
Desirable
1. Previous experience working in a Front Office Manager position within a Secondary School and qualifications in a related field.
2. Experience developing and producing timetables using the Timetabler System or similar.
