A Bar Attendant at The Star Entertainment Group works in venues such as sports bars, gaming floor bars, VIP lounges, restaurants, and entertainment areas at The Star Sydney.
Main job duties
Take drink orders and serve beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages
Prepare drinks accurately using standard recipes
Maintain knowledge of menus, beverages, and promotions
Keep the bar clean, stocked, and organized
Wash and store glassware and bar equipment
Deliver friendly customer service in a fast-paced environment
Follow RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) rules and safety procedures
Work closely with bar staff, floor staff, and supervisors to create a positive guest experience
Skills and requirements
Strong customer service skills
Good communication and teamwork
Ability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
RSA certification (required in NSW)
Bar, hospitality, or cocktail experience is preferred but some venues also hire people with transferable customer service experience
Pay: $4,700.00 – $6,400.00 per month
