Due to continued growth, we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Tax Accountant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of BAS, IAS, and tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts.
- Preparation of SMSF tax returns and financial statements.
- Division 7A, CGT and FBT Calculations.
- Provide clients with tax planning, cashflow forecast & business advice to optimise tax outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with ATO regulations and AASB standards.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing proactive and responsive service.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Accounting.
- CA or CPA qualified (or in progress).
- Minimum 1 year work experience in a public practice.
- Proficiency in Xero, Handisoft, Excel is highly favourable.
- Excellent analytical & problem solving skills.
- Strong communication & organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in Portuguese is desirable.
