DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To be able to read electrical layout drawings old and new.
Have a good clear understanding of construction and elevator safety.
To be able to supervise multiple lift projects.
Liaise with lift company project manager and provide updates.
Have a clear understanding of hours allocation and fi nancial constraints.
Have understanding of a full lift installation
Have ability to follow installation manuals.
Have restricted electrical knowledge to advise mechanical contractors in the workenvironment
Be prepared to undertake any addition training to enhance skill and safety awareness.
Competent at both ELV and LV installation
Competent at both ELV and LV testing
Must be able to conduct safe fault fi nding in electrical components
Competent in LV switch board upgrading
Full knowledge to interpret and implement the rules of the AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008,
Carry risk assessment and daily JHA in all areas of the work.
Represent the company at all times in professional manner and have knowledge to carry outhandover of completed elevator to consultant and or end user.
REQUIREMENTS Minimum 3 years installation experience
Strong technical skills
Good communication skills
Achieved some form of Elevator qualification
Supervisory skills advantageous
Clear understanding of OH & S regulations
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to cross reference layout drawings
Certifi cate III or equivalent - work experience can be in lieu of qualifications
