About the Opportunity:
An opportunity has become available to join Corporate as a Senior Business Continuity and Emergency Management Advisor in a permanent capacity, to start immediately.
You will play an important function in the corporate team, working across the business to coordinate business continuity practices; give advice on emergency management planning and recovery.
You will be also required to assist in responding to, managing and coordinating City of Darwin security and emergency issues with a view for continuous improvement.
About you:

You have the ability to engage a wide range of internal stakeholders to achieve balanced outcomes.

Your experience in emergency management allows you to assist an organisation wide response with proactive planning.

Provide specialist advice and coordinate City of Darwin's business continuity.

Develop and oversee strategies for a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors and assets.

Advice cross-functional teams in emergency management planning and recovery.

You will have:
Level 7
- Qualifications in a discipline relevant to security business continuity and/or emergency management or equivalent experience Or
- At least 3 years' experience in security, emergency management or a related field.
- Willingness and ability to work outside of regular hours, particularly during an emergency event.
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
- National Criminal History Check
Level 8
- Tertiary Qualification Bachelor's degree in a discipline relevant to business continuity and/or emergency management or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years' experience in emergency management or a related field.
- Willingness and ability to work outside of regular hours, particularly during an emergency event.
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
- National Criminal History Check
