The Long Service Corporation (LSC) manages portable long service schemes for the building and construction, contract cleaning and – as of this year – community services industries. Within LSC, the Service Delivery and Operations group provides frontline services to help employers and workers register for the schemes, report and track eligible work, and claim entitlements.

About the role
This newly created role, which reports straight to the director, will build and lead a new, small but critical operational excellence team to provide capability and support across the directorate’s 100-person customer service delivery functions.
Your responsibilities:

Lead the high performance of a small team with expertise in operational excellence, capability development, continuous improvement and quality assurance

Design, coordinate and deliver priority initiatives to deliver on the business plan
-
Develop and review insights and reporting to drive improved operations across functions
-
Provide executive-appropriate advice and communications on issues and opportunities
-
Collaborate with peers and adjacent functions across LSC, breaking down silos
-
Lead operational and workforce planning for an evolving landscape
-
Help drive a customer-focused culture, services and capability
-
Stay abreast of good practice and develop relevant networks
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
