Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly-motivated, vibrant team player to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to develop their expertise in the personal injury law arena, excellent communicator skills with a commitment to delivering uncompromised services to our clients.
Position Description:
Assist in management of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accident, workers compensation, public liability and other compensation claims. All required client liaison, legal research, drafting correspondence and court documents, preparing claims, negotiating settlements and assisting with litigation. The ideal candidate will seek to develop their personal injury law expertise and have excellent communication skills and a commitment to high-level client service. Out strong cultural foundations require genuine care, empathy and commitment to our clients and to team members.
Key responsibilities:
a) Draft, review, and revise legal documents including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence between clients, courts and other legal professionals
b) Execute and modify legal strategy in matters providing legal guidance and progression of compensation cases
c) Receive and manage client instructions
d) Attend to meetings and court proceedings to progress matters for optimal settlement
e) Manage case files and documentation, ensuring practice and firm is up to date on matter status
f) Ensure compliance with legal procedures and firm’s policies
g) Guidance and leader paralegals and admin staff, particularly with respect to workers compensation, work injury damages, TPD, CTP and public liability insurance
h) Ensure communication with stakeholders within expected timeframes
i) Ensure KPI’s are met
j) Strategise effectively to achieve targets
k) Ad hoc duties as required to achieve organisational objectives
l) Support business development and client relationship initiatives.

Experience
- Up to 3 years post-admission experience
- Good understanding of Personal Injury legal framework
- Experience dealing with clients, preparing legal documents and managing legal files
Work Rights: Require Full working rights to work in Australia
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in law or related fields
- Practising Certificate and Membership with Law Society of NSW
