About the Role
We're looking for a client-facing Interior Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be the bridge between our clients' vision and the practical delivery of their renovation or fitout project. You'll meet with potential clients, understand their needs and style preferences, and translate that into design concepts and project briefs that our construction team can execute.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with prospective and confirmed clients to discuss project goals, budget, and style preferences
- Conduct site visits/measure-ups of residential and commercial spaces
- Develop mood boards, floor plans, colour schemes, material and finish selections
- Prepare design concepts and presentations to help clients visualise the finished project
- Translate client briefs into detailed specifications for the construction and fitout team
- Source furniture, fixtures, fittings, and materials within budget parameters
- Support the sales process by helping convert design consultations into signed projects
- Liaise between clients and tradespeople/project managers throughout the project to ensure design intent is maintained
- Stay current on interior design trends, materials, and suppliers relevant to residential and commercial spaces
About You
- Qualification in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- Experience in residential and/or commercial interior design
- Strong client-facing communication skills — comfortable running consultations and presenting ideas
- Proficiency in design software (e.g. AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, or similar)
- Excellent understanding of space planning, materials, and finishes
- Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with strong organisational skills
- Own vehicle and driver's licence (for client site visits across Sydney)

Pay: $64,914.75 – $122,660.22 per year
