We are looking for an experienced Drainer to join our growing construction team. Successful candidates must have a proven track record of sewer, drainage and common trench utility installation. You will be working alongside an experienced team with strong core values and have opportunities for development within the business.
Someone who takes pride in their work and is able to drive crew productivity will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain stormwater and sewer drainage systems
- Carry out trenching, pipe laying, and backfilling
- Set levels using laser equipment
- Read and interpret site plans
- Operate safely in accordance with WHS standards
- Work collaboratively with civil and excavation teams
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Drainer in WA, working to Water Corp specifications.
- Strong understanding of using drainage survey equipment, working out own levels, grades, lines, splits etc.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and follow instructions.
- Reliable, able to use own initiative, strong work ethic, high quality of work, strong communication and problem-solving abilities, safety conscious
- Sub-division experience highly desirable
- White Card (Essential)
- Driver’s license (Essential)
- Excavator ticket (Desirable)
- ATCO common trench ticket (Highly Desirable)
- Dogman/Riggers (Highly Desirable)
