What you'll be doing
The purpose of this position is to provide high‑quality specialist psychiatric services to patients and their
families while continuing professional development toward Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New
Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).
The successful applicant will work within a multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive assessment
and management using a biopsychosocial and cultural framework that supports integrated mental and
physical health care. They will demonstrate sustained commitment to learning, clinical education, and
progression through RANZCP Fellowship competencies.
Over the course of training, the position holder will deliver high‑quality psychiatric care across the mental
health continuum, in a range of clinical settings and with individuals across the lifespan. The successful
applicant is also expected to contribute to improving mental health outcomes for Aboriginal peoples.

Successfully completed Stage 1 of RANZCP training (for Stage 2 roles), or
Successfully completed Stage 2 of RANZCP training (for Stage 3 roles)
