In this role, you'll:
Take the lead in governing and delivering SAP enterprise platforms across the Transport Equip system, making sure everything runs reliably, safely, and in line with regulatory and cyber standards. You’ll sit right at the centre of technical delivery, product strategy, and solution architecture, ensuring programs don’t just launch successfully but continue to scale and deliver long-term value. You’ll oversee a broad SAP landscape and balancing service reliability, risk, cost, and business outcomes across multi-year programs.

About you
You’ll bring a strong foundation—a degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar—along with solid SAP experience across areas like S/4HANA, EAM/PM, SuccessFactors, or Solution Manager/Cloud ALM. Certifications in program delivery (PMP, PRINCE2, MSP), IT service management (ITIL), and exposure to Agile, Lean, or SAFe will put you in a great position to succeed from day one.
In this role, you’ll lead large SAP portfolios within asset-intensive transport environments, covering ERP, asset management, HR, and analytics. You’ll naturally think big picture, understanding how architecture, workflows, and people connect, and anticipating how decisions impact the wider organisation. Your technical understanding of cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, and CI/CD will help you confidently contribute to design discussions and guide scalable, high-performing solutions.
You’ll play a key role in bringing teams together, building alignment across functions, resolving challenges, and keeping delivery on track. Your communication skills will really matter—you’ll be able to explain complex ideas simply, whether you’re speaking with technical teams or business stakeholders, and you’ll produce clear documentation that supports consistency and accountability. When things get challenging, you’ll stay calm, adapt quickly, and keep everyone focused on outcomes.
You’ll also draw on your experience managing vendors and commercial arrangements, particularly in regulated environments, to ensure performance, compliance, and value. At the same time, you’ll support the reliability of critical systems, including resilience, recovery, and continuity planning. Most importantly, you’ll work closely across the business to realise benefits, build strong relationships, and deliver outcomes that truly make a difference.
