- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards.
- Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations to improve business outcomes.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory valuations, and operational expenditure.
- Examine operating costs and organisational income and expenditure to identify efficiencies.
- Analyze and calculate the true landed cost for all import and export shipments .
- Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, payroll tax, FBT, and other statutory obligations.
- Provide financial and taxation advice on business structures, plans, and operations.
- Conduct financial investigations and prepare reports on matters such as the purchase and sale of businesses, mergers, capital financing, suspected fraud, insolvency, and taxation.
- Provide assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements.
- Liaise with financial institutions and brokers to establish funds management arrangements.
- Preference will be given to those with experience in Reckon Enterprise Accounting software
- Maintain and improve accounting systems, policies, and internal controls.
- Introduce and advise on the selection and application of computer-based accounting systems.
- Maintain internal control systems.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist with external audits and liaise with professional advisers as required.
- Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards, taxation legislation, and regulatory requirements.
- CPA qualification or CPA Program Candidate
Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
