Painter – Full-time
Salary range: $75,000 to $80,000
Riley Renovators is a well-established building company based in the Upper Blue Mountains, NSW. Operating for over 30 years, we are known for delivering high-quality residential construction and renovation projects. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Painter to join our team on a full-time basis.
Position Overview
This is a full-time role working 38 hours per week, with occasional weekend work required to meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, and priming
- Apply paints, varnishes, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
- Carry out interior and exterior painting across residential projects
- Undertake remedial painting and maintenance work
- Work safely at heights, including the use of scaffolding and ladders
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with safety requirements
- Maintain equipment and ensure work areas are clean and safe
Skills and Experience
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Painter, or a relevant qualification
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Interior painting
- Exterior painting
- Scaffold and working-at-heights environments
- Remedial painting works
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Licences and Requirements
- Construction Induction Card (White Card) – required
- Work Safely at Heights certification – required
- Current Driver Licence – required
- Ability to provide own tools and reliable transport
