ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on kitchen management, preparation, and readiness for service.
You will be responsible for ensuring the kitchen is organised, fully prepared, and operating to a consistently high standard each day.
This is not a menu development role—our Head Chef prepares dressings, crunch elements, and marinated components. Your role is to lead execution of daily prep and uphold quality across all outputs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily kitchen preparation and organisation
- Manage vegetable prep and protein cooking
- Ensure the salad bar is fully stocked and ready for service
- Coordinate team prep schedules and workflow
- Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness
- Monitor stock levels and support ordering and inventory control
- Support front of house during service
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience in a kitchen leadership role (Kitchen Lead, Sous Chef, or similar)
- Strong knife skills and food preparation knowledge
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage a team and maintain structure in a fast-paced environment
- A consistent, reliable approach with high standards
