Breakfast Cook Casual Lvl 1 or Part Time Lvl 1
Croff Bakehouse is looking for a reliable and fast-paced Breakfast Cook to join our new West Leederville flagship location.
You will work alongside our Head Chef to execute service efficiently while maintaining consistency and quality across the menu. This role is suited to someone confident working both within a team during busy rush periods, and independently on days or shifts where the Head Chef is not present.
We are looking for someone organised, proactive and able to handle a fast-paced café environment with strong service awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute breakfast and brunch service efficiently during peak hours
- Work alongside the Head Chef during busy service periods
- Independently manage kitchen operations on designated shifts
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation and portioning
- Assist with daily prep and stock rotation
- Monitor prep levels and minimise wastage
- Maintain food safety, cleanliness and kitchen organisation
- Contribute ideas for seasonal specials and menu improvements
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a café or brunch kitchen
- Strong understanding of fast-paced service workflow
- Ability to work independently and stay organised under pressure
- Confident multitasking during busy service periods
- Reliable and punctual with availability for early mornings and weekends
- Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
