A quick word on why this studio exists, because it shapes how I'll treat you.
Years ago someone saw potential in me I couldn't see in myself, and put good coaches around me. It changed the direction of my life. I built BFT Mascot to do that for others, and I hire the same way: I back people and help them grow.
So I'm not looking to fill a shift. I'm looking for someone I can invest in, who loves coaching and the people on the floor, and who wants to grow into leading this place.
If that sounds like you, keep reading, because I've made sure the offer matches the ask.
The role
Your week splits roughly in two: the commercial engine on the phone, and coaching on the floor.
About 50% is the phone side, and it is really three jobs in one.
First, new sales: when a lead comes in from our marketing, you call them fast, have a real conversation, and sell them a membership, following the sales system we train you on.
Second, roll-overs: you flip our paid-trial members into ongoing members, which is where a lot of your wins will come from.
Third, retention: you reach out to members whose attendance is slipping and bring them back before they drift away.
You are not cold-calling strangers. Our marketing brings the leads, and our members are already here. Your job is speed, connection, and keeping people.
About 50% is on the floor, coaching sessions. In a studio like ours the best salesperson is a coach people already trust, so the two halves feed each other. The members you coach are the ones you keep, and the community you build sells the place for you.
What I am putting behind you
Most coaching and PT jobs ask you to hustle for every dollar, do your own marketing unpaid, and cap out at senior trainer. This one flips all of that.
- A stable full-time salary, so your income stops living and dying by your calendar. Injuries, quiet weeks, and holidays do not wipe out your pay.
- Uncapped commission on every new member you bring across the line, paid once their first payment clears, so your effort compounds. On-target earnings land around $80k, and the ceiling is yours to lift.
- Warm opportunities, not cold ones. Our marketing feeds you leads, and a steady stream of paid-trial members are already in the door waiting to be rolled into memberships, so a lot of your wins come warm.
- A proven BFT system, HQ support, and a coaching team around you, so you are never grinding alone.
- A real path to running the place (more on that below), because I want you building a career here, not just working a job.
Who you are
You are most likely a personal trainer or group coach who is brilliant with people but tired of the grind, the unstable income, and the ceiling. You want stability and somewhere to grow.
Two things are non-negotiable, so I will be upfront about them:
- You know strength training and how the body moves. Solid programming knowledge, clean technique, and sharp cueing are the floor, not the ceiling. Members trust a coach who clearly knows their craft, and that trust is what makes the rest of this role work.
- You follow the script. We invest in real sales training, and I need you running exactly what we teach, not your own version of it. The same goes for how you coach our format. If you are the kind of person who wants to do it your own way, this is not the role for you. If you are excited to master a proven system and make it sing, it very much is.
The rest of what I care about:
- You can coach a room, not just one person. Holding the energy, timing, and connection of a full floor is a real skill, and you have it (or you are very close).
- You are comfortable on camera. We create a lot of content, and you being natural and confident on video is a genuine part of the job, not an afterthought.
- You genuinely like people and selling feels like helping. You see a sale as helping someone start something that could change their life, because that is exactly what it is.
- You keep people, not just sign them. You notice when a member starts slipping and reach out before they drift. To you, keeping someone is every bit as much a win as a new sale.
- You are hungry. You want your effort to show up in your pay and your progress.
- You are the kind of person I would be proud to have represent this studio. Our culture is not negotiable, and it is the best thing we have.
Where this goes
This is not a dead-end role. There is a defined path, over roughly six to twelve months, to step up into leading the studio (studio manager or head coach, depending on where your strengths land and what the studio needs).
It is earned, not automatic. You clear the sales performance that proves you can carry the commercial side, and then we look at the leadership things that matter: your coaching standard, how you lift the people around you, and how you carry our culture. Hit those, and the seat is yours.
The honest bit
Fitness hours are fitness hours. There will be some early starts and some evenings. But this is a proper full-time role with a salary and a team behind you, not solo split-shift chaos. If you want to stop trading every hour for uncertain pay and start building something, this is that.
How to apply
Send me a few lines on who you are and why this speaks to you, along with your resume. Tell me about a time you helped someone who was ready to quit decide to stay. That matters to me more than your certifications.
I read every one personally.
