At Uniting Communities, we're experiencing continued growth and are looking for compassionate and reliable Home & Community Aged Care Workers to support older South Australians living independently in their own homes.

About the Role
Every day is different. You'll work closely with customers and their families, providing practical assistance, companionship, and support that helps people remain safe, connected, and independent in their own homes.
To thrive in this role, you'll bring warmth, empathy, positivity, and a genuine passion for helping others. You'll enjoy working independently, building strong relationships, and finding solutions that meet individual needs.
What You'll Need
- Current driver's licence
- Your own registered and insured vehicle
- Roadworthy Vehicle Test (required before commencement and conducted at your cost)
- Vehicle less than 20 years old
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
Your Role
- Assisting with personal care, including dressing, showering, and grooming
- Supporting customers with medication assistance
- Planning and preparing meals
- Encouraging social connection and community participation
- Assisting with light household tasks, including cleaning and vacuuming
- Contributing to customer support plans and goals
Skills & Experience
We're looking for people who are caring, dependable, and eager to learn.
You may have:
- A passion for supporting and caring for others
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Community Services or a related qualification
- Current studies in Social Work, Nursing, Allied Health, Community Services or similar
- Previous aged care or community care experience (helpful, but not essential)
