Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will supervise the maintenance trades team and contractors, ensuring the fixed plant and supporting infrastructure operate safely, reliably and efficiently to meet production requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Lead weekly preventative and corrective maintenance programs, breakdown response and shutdown execution across crushing, grinding, gravity, flotation and dewatering circuits.
-
Supervise maintenance trades and contractors, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to required quality and OEM standards.
-
Maintain compliance with Queensland mining safety legislation, the site's SHMS, permits, isolations and risk management processes.
-
Drive plant reliability through inspections, condition monitoring, root cause analysis and defect elimination.
-
Manage CMMS work orders, maintenance history, defects, spares and materials, while supporting maintenance cost control and forecasting.
-
Coordinate contractors, specialist services, equipment and resources required for planned and breakdown maintenance.
-
Lead, coach and develop the maintenance team, fostering a strong safety culture and high standards of workmanship.
About You
You will be an experienced Maintenance Supervisor or Leading Hand with a strong fixed-plant maintenance background in mining or mineral processing.
You will ideally have:
-
5+ years' fixed-plant maintenance experience, including 2+ years in a leading hand or supervisory role.
-
A relevant trade qualification such as Mechanical Fitter, Boilermaker or Electrician, or an Engineering qualification.
-
Hands-on experience with crushers, mills, screens, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes and associated processing infrastructure.
-
Demonstrated experience planning and executing shutdowns, including contractor and resource coordination.
-
Experience using a CMMS, preferably MEX, for work orders, maintenance history and defect management.
-
Strong knowledge of permits, isolations, risk management and Queensland mining safety requirements.
-
Experience in gravity, flotation, concentrator or wet processing environments is highly desirable.
-
Standard 11, or ability to obtain, and a current Queensland driver's licence.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will play a key part in maximising plant availability, improving reliability and building a high-performing maintenance team.
If you're a practical and safety-focused maintenance leader who enjoys solving problems, developing people and keeping a processing operation running at its best, we'd like to hear from you.
