We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced full-time Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary team. To be successful in this position, you will be passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences through food and have the personal drive to take your culinary experiences to the next level.
What you'll be doing:
- Assist in planning, preparing and delivering menus for banquets, corporate functions, stadium events and premium hospitality
- Taking ownership as an emerging leader, setting standards through your work and behaviour
- Lead kitchen operations during service periods, ensuring food is prepared and presented to the highest standards
- Guiding and supporting chefs, apprentices and stewards during prep and service
- Assisting with menu implementation, stock control and kitchen organisation
- Upholding food safety, HACCP, WHS and cleanliness standards
What you'll bring:
- Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef, Chef de Partie or similar senior chef positions within a busy commercial kitchen
- Relevant trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Confident leadership skills with a supportive, team‑first approach
- Sound knowledge of WHS, HACCP and food safety standards
- Ability to stay organised and work calmly under pressure
- A genuine passion for food, quality and guest experience
