Auto One Browns Plains is a leading automotive parts and accessories retailer, offering quality car parts, 4WD equipment, and professional fitment services to our local community. We are seeking an experienced Sales and Parts Interpreter to join our friendly, hands-on team.
This is a full-time, permanent role suited to someone who knows the automotive aftermarket inside and out and enjoys delivering outstanding customer service.
About the role:
- Accurately interpret and supply automotive parts and accessories for a wide range of vehicles
- Provide expert advice to retail and trade customers in person, over the phone, and via email
- Process sales, quotes, and orders using point-of-sale and inventory systems
- Source parts from suppliers and follow up on orders and back-orders
- Maintain stock levels, assist with receiving, and keep the showroom well presented
- Support 4WD and accessory fitment enquiries and recommend suitable products
- Build and maintain strong relationships with trade and retail customers
About you:
- Previous experience in the automotive parts industry is essential (parts interpreting, spare parts, or automotive retail)
- Sound knowledge of vehicle systems, parts catalogues, and aftermarket accessories
- Confident using parts interpreting and point-of-sale software
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Current driver's licence
