Motel Manager Opportunity (Couple Preferred)
We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and hands-on Motel Manager (husband-and-wife team or couple preferred) to oversee the day-to-day operations of our well-established motel in South West Rocks, NSW.
Located approximately 4 hours' drive from Sydney and midway between Sydney and Brisbane, South West Rocks is a picturesque coastal town renowned for its pristine beaches, relaxed lifestyle, and friendly community.
Our motel features 21 well-appointed guest rooms and is ideally situated in the heart of town, providing guests with easy access to local cafes, restaurants, shops, beaches, and popular attractions.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated couple seeking a rewarding management role while enjoying the lifestyle of one of New South Wale most beautiful coastal destinations.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
· Providing a warm, professional welcome and exceptional customer service to all guests.
· Managing front office operations, including reception and guest check-in and check-out.
· Handling telephone enquiries, online bookings, walk-in reservations, and payment processing.
· Working independently and efficiently to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the motel.
· Building and maintaining strong guest relationships while responding professionally to changing operational needs.
· Maintaining accurate records and administrative documentation.
· Ensuring the motel is presented to a consistently high standard of cleanliness and appearance.
· Supervising and coordinating housekeeping operations as required.
· Carrying out or coordinating general property maintenance, including outdoor areas and gardens.
· Monitoring inventory levels, ordering supplies, and managing stock control.
· Assisting with budgeting and cost control to support efficient motel operations.
