About the opportunity
If you are either looking for your first job in retail or have a proven track record in a fast paced retail/ supermarket environment, you’re available to commit to a minimum of working 25 hours each week and you’re looking for your next move, we have an opportunity for you!
Role Details:

Offering an above industry average pay rate $31.93 / hour + 12% Superannuation

+ District allowance from $7140 annually (paid fortnightly)

+ Up to 50% Air Conditioning subsidy

+ Extra 7 days of paid leave per year = 5 weeks holidays each year
-
Extensive, supportive (paid) training, 12 weeks, 5 hours / day on a rotating roster, Monday - Friday, between 8:45 AM - 5:06 PM

Extra hours are available to support a great local team when they are on leave

You'll be:

Performing customer sales and service transactions with customers
-
Managing high value transactions accurately (handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS)
-
Promoting our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising and other promotional activities
-
Assisting customers with mail lodgements and associate costs
-
Building rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs
-
Assisting with administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance
About you
You're friendly, enthusiastic and reliable and you love working in a team environment. You're ready to put the customer at the centre of everything you do to help make a difference in the community. You'll also need to:

Have a great attitude and are willing to learn

Be competent or have the ability to learn to work with POS’s and cash handling

Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail / parcels regularly and stand for your shift
