Service Desk Analyst
Employment Type: Full-Time
Monthly Salary: AUD $5,000 - $6,500 (depending on experience)
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Service Desk Analyst to join our IT team. In this role, you will provide first-level technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure timely resolution of IT service requests while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, chat, and remote support tools.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and application issues.
- Log, prioritize, and manage incidents and service requests using a ticketing system.
- Escalate complex issues to second- or third-level support teams when required.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, password resets, and user account management.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and knowledge base articles.
- Meet service level agreements (SLAs) and contribute to continuous service improvement.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Service Desk, Help Desk, or IT Support role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft certifications are an advantage.
