Position Purpose
The Project Administrator supports the planning, coordination and administration of manufacturing and operational projects within Victorian Trailers Pty Ltd. The role ensures that project documentation, schedules, cost tracking and compliance processes are maintained accurately to support efficient project delivery within the trailer manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, schedules and reports
- Support project planning activities and monitor progress against timelines
- Maintain project files, registers and document control systems
- Assist with cost tracking and budget monitoring activities
- Maintain risk registers and WHS compliance documentation
- Coordinate communication between management, production staff and external stakeholders
- Prepare meeting minutes and track action items
- Support operational and continuous improvement projects
- Assist in project close-out documentation and reporting
Skills and Experience Required
- Qualification in Project Management or related field (Certificate IV / Diploma preferred)
- Understanding of project management principles and documentation processes
- Basic knowledge of scheduling and reporting tools
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work under supervision and progressively develop independent responsibility
- Understanding of workplace health and safety procedures

Work Environment
The role operates within an active manufacturing environment, supporting a range of operational, production and continuous improvement projects within Victorian Trailers Pty Ltd. The Project Administrator works closely with the Owner & Director, production supervisors and operational staff to coordinate project activities related to workflow optimisation, process improvements, equipment upgrades and custom trailer builds.
The position involves regular interaction across departments, including production, procurement and management, ensuring that project documentation, schedules and reporting processes support efficient project delivery. The role is primarily office-based with frequent exposure to the workshop environment to monitor project progress and support practical implementation activities under direct supervision.
In return, we offer annual salary $75,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
