What you need for the role:
- Role model Team Leader leadership behaviours as outlined in the Leadership competencies for Queensland.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing a program of work designed to improve permissions management.
- Significant experience with program management in the public land management area and/or related industries and an in-depth knowledge of protected area management, permissions management, policy development and the associated legislation framework in Queensland.
- Well-developed analytical and interpretation skills with proven problem-solving ability to support continuous improvement in the workplace.
- Demonstrated high level project management skills with an ambition to drive results and achieve departmental objectives.
- High level written and verbal communication skills, including interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team and implement systems to promote performance management, ethical behaviour and professional development.
- Demonstrate how you can support our commitment to workplace safety, equity, diversity, respect and inclusion.
