Barwon Fire Protection is growing and we’re looking for an Apprentice Sprinkler Fitter to join our team. We’re open to applicants who are brand new to the trade or currently in their 2nd, 3rd or 4th year apprenticeship.
We work across commercial, industrial and maintenance projects throughout Geelong and regional Victoria. You’ll learn from experienced tradespeople, gain hands-on experience and build a long-term career in the fire protection industry.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting with installation of fire sprinkler systems
- Learning maintenance and repair work
- Supporting testing and commissioning of systems
- Working from plans and drawings
- Learning how to use tools and equipment safely
- Assisting qualified fitters onsite
- Maintaining clean and safe worksites
What we’re looking for:
- Genuine interest in learning a trade
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable and punctual
- Good attitude and able to take direction
- Driver’s licence (or working towards it preferred)
- White Card (or willing to obtain)
We’re open to:
- School leavers looking to start a trade career
- Mature-age apprentices
- Current 2nd, 3rd or 4th year apprentices looking for a new opportunity
