Wide Bay Caravans is a locally owned caravan and motorhome business based in Maryborough, servicing the Wide Bay region. We work on a wide range of caravans and motorhomes, from routine servicing through to repairs and refurbishments.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a Caravan Technician to join our workshop. You'll handle the day-to-day mechanical, electrical, and structural work that keeps caravans and motorhomes road-ready. This is a hands-on role with variety — no two jobs are the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structural faults on caravans and motorhomes
- Carry out servicing, repairs and basic refurbishment work
- Maintain accurate job records and parts usage
- Communicate clearly with customers about work completed
- Keep the workshop safe, tidy and organised
What We're Looking For
- Trade qualification in a relevant field — mechanic, auto electrician, cabinet maker, or similar — caravan-specific experience isn't essential
- Working knowledge of 12V/240V electrical systems
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Current driver's licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
