Technical Lead — Oracle RMS

The Technical Lead owns the architecture, delivery, and technical governance of Oracle
Retail solutions. The role focuses primarily on RMS and Allocation, while also
overseeing integration and technical direction across the full Oracle Retail v11 suite.

Key Responsibilities
- Own technical architecture and solution design for RMS, Allocation, and their
integration with other Oracle Retail modules.
- Lead a team of developers by assigning work, reviewing deliverables, mentoring
junior and senior team members, and ensuring adherence to coding and design
standards.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and drive high-level and
low-level design documentation.
- Act as the primary technical escalation point for critical production issues
across RMS, Allocation, and integrated modules.
- Drive system-wide performance tuning strategy across SQL, PL/SQL, batch
processing, and RIB messaging.
- Lead impact analysis, effort estimation, and technical feasibility assessments
for new projects and enhancements.
- Oversee patch management, version upgrade planning, and environment and
release strategy across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production environments.
- Coordinate with functional leads, project managers, and Oracle Support on
strategic issues and roadmap planning.
- Define and enforce best practices for integration, data governance, and system
reliability across the Oracle Retail landscape.
- Own technical documentation standards, knowledge repositories, and team
onboarding and training.
- Support pre-sales and solutioning efforts, where applicable, by providing
technical inputs and effort estimates.
Core Skills:
Deep expertise in PL/SQL, SQL, and RMS and Allocation architecture;
strong command of the full Oracle Retail v11 suite; integration design using RIB;
performance engineering; team leadership; stakeholder management; Unix scripting;
and batch scheduling using Autosys or Control-M.
Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
