This job description is for a professional painter position at Melbourne Painting Company, a leading residential and commercial painting company based in Melbourne, Australia.
The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled painter with excellent communication and customer service skills, and at least 5 years of professional painting experience.
The position requires someone who is detail-oriented, quality conscious, and has a strong understanding of painting tools and equipment. The role involves preparing surfaces for painting, completing set-up duties at the job site, painting surfaces to produce a uniform finish, and cleaning up after each job.
The candidate must also have a valid driver's license, a vehicle, and standard painting tools.
Basic knowledge of information technology, such as smartphones, tablets, and spreadsheets, is preferred.
Additionally, the candidate must have a White Card, a Work Safely at Heights certification, a Driver Licence, and must be authorized to work in Australia. A Certificate III in Painting & Decorating is preferred but not required.
Pay: $62,400.00 – $72,800.00 per year
