MOBILE PHONE TECHNICIAN
JOB TITLE: Mobile Phone Technician
JOB TYPE: Full time / Part Time / Casual
LOCATION: Zetland, Mosman, Lane Cove, Leichhardt as required
SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: Store Supervisor
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Technical - Perform high quality repairs and testing on all mobile phones and tablets, problem solving and diagnosis, repairs completed within a given time frame, able to multitask, consistently learns and updates knowledge on upcoming devices
- Retail - Selling of mobile phone and tablet cases and accessories, ensuring all cases and accessories are neatly presented, keeping up to date on knowledge on all stock
- Inventory - Monitoring stock for parts and accessories
- Customer Service - Interacting, assisting and providing exceptional customer service including phone etiquette
- Money Handling - Cash and EFTPOS facilities
- Accurately document repairs and parts information on computer system
- Ensures work bench is clean and tidy at all times
- Following company policies and procedures at all times
- Perform other duties required by management including completing daily and close checklists and cleaning duties
- Be active, energetic and honest.
- Be able to trouble shoot and follow procedures.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
- Retail experience preferred
- Knowledge and experience in phone or tablet repairs
- Fluent in English
Experience:
- Experience preferred, but can teach the right candidate who already has technical skills
Skills:
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Organised and able to meet deadlines
PERFORMANCE GOALS:
- Complete phone repair tasks on time
- Deal with clients, suppliers and other employees professionally at all times
- Ensure office is clean and presentable at all times
Remuneration will be discussed at a later stage dependent on your skills and experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
