The Opportunity
As a Multi Service Technician, you'll play a key role in delivering reactive, preventative, and critical maintenance services across a variety of customer sites.
You'll be part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team responsible for maintaining essential electrical and critical power systems while building trusted relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform reactive and preventative electrical maintenance across multiple customer sites.
- Conduct fault-finding, diagnostics, repairs, and inspections on a wide range of electrical assets.
- Complete maintenance and minor upgrade works on switchboards and electrical distribution systems.
- Service, test, and maintain critical power infrastructure including:
- UPS systems
- Static Transfer Switches (STS)
- Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS)
- Air Circuit Breakers (ACB)
- Backup generators and associated systems
- Prepare service reports, compliance records, documentation, and minor works quotations.
- Participate in scheduled maintenance programs and emergency response activities.
- Work collaboratively with technicians across multiple trades to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
- Build positive relationships with clients and proactively address service issues.
- Support and mentor apprentices through knowledge sharing and on-the-job training.
- Collaborate with interstate teams, managers, and service partners on complex projects.
- Participate in the on-call roster to support reactive and emergency works.
Travel Opportunities
This role offers variety and adventure beyond the typical service technician position.
You will:
- Travel across SA as required.
- Participate in occasional overnight maintenance works and remote site visits.
- Support interstate shutdowns and specialised maintenance activities when required.
On-call allowance: $250 per week
About You
We're looking for a proactive, customer-focused professional who takes pride in delivering quality work and is eager to continue developing their skills.
You may already have extensive experience in electrical maintenance, or you may be looking to expand your technical capabilities into critical power and multi-service environments.
You Will Bring
- Qualified Electrician with experience in commercial, industrial, service, maintenance, or installation environments.
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and fault-finding capability.
- Sound understanding of complex electrical installations.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- A positive, solutions-focused attitude and strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A genuine desire to learn and grow across multiple technical disciplines.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and company-supported training.
Qualifications & Licences
Essential
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology
- Current Electrical Licence
- White Card
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Ability to successfully complete a National Police Check
- Full unrestricted working rights in Australia
Highly Desirable
- Data Centre experience
- Experience with UPS and DC Power Systems
- Working at Heights
- EWP under 11 metres
