About Aspire Academics
Aspire Academics is an in-person tutoring centre in Truganina supporting students from Years 3 to 12. We help students build genuine understanding, strong study habits and the confidence to do their best. We are growing and looking for talented, dedicated tutors to join our team.
Roles available (apply for one or more):
- Primary Tutor (Years 3-6)
- Years 7-10 Tutor (Maths, English and/or Science)
- VCE Chemistry Tutor (Units 1-4)
- VCE Biology Tutor (Units 1-4)
- VCE General Maths Tutor (Units 1-4)
Hours are flexible, with casual/sessional and ongoing part-time options available, including after-school and weekend sessions.
What we are looking for:
- A strong academic record in the subject(s) you wish to teach
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
- Reliability, professionalism and a warm, encouraging manner with young people
- Full working rights in Australia
- A valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one before commencing
Desirable (not essential):
- Experience attending a selective entry school
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience
- Current university study or a completed degree in a relevant field, or a strong VCE result in the relevant subject
