About the Role
Dipmola Early Learning Centre is seeking a passionate, experienced, and nurturing Room Leader to lead our Babies Room. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic early childhood professional who is committed to providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0–2 years.
As the Babies Room Leader, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where infants can thrive, while leading and mentoring a team of educators.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the Babies Room.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Foster strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and inclusive learning environment.
- Observe, document, and assess children's development and learning.
- Support and mentor educators within the room.
- Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards (NQS) and centre policies.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
- Current Working With Children Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications.
- Previous experience working with infants and leading a team in an early childhood setting.
- Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and childcare regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's early development.
- Rotating roster of open, mids and lates
