Jade The OT is growing, and we're looking for a Occupational Therapist to join our small, locally owned practice across the Central Coast, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Maitland.
This is genuine independent subcontracting, you control your schedule, your caseload and how much you work.
You can work:
- 2–3 days per week
- Full-time
- School hours
- A 5-day week finishing at 2pm
- Or something completely different
There are no minimum hours and no KPIs.
We provide the referrals, administration and clinical support. You control your calendar.

The Role
Our referral pipeline is growing and we're looking for another OT to support our participants.
You'll have the freedom to build a caseload that works for you.
You decide:
- When you work
- How much you work
- Which referrals you accept
- Which referrals you don't
- Whether you want paediatric work only or a combination of paediatric and adult work
- How you structure your clinical week
We handle the referrals, administration and provide clinical backup, so you can focus on doing good OT.
This is designed for an OT who wants the freedom of subcontracting without feeling like they're working completely alone.

Jade The OT is a small, locally owned, director-led OT practice servicing Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland and the Central Coast.

Who We're Looking For
We're looking for an OT who:
- Is neuro-affirming in their practice
- Enjoys working with children and families
- Explains things clearly without unnecessary clinical jargon
- Values autonomy and clinical decision-making
- Wants flexibility around their personal life
- Appreciates having admin and clinical support available
- Is comfortable taking ownership of their own caseload and professional responsibilities
- Wants to provide therapy that is practical, individualised and meaningful
Requirements
To subcontract with Jade The OT, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
- General AHPRA registration
- ABN or willingness to obtain one
- Valid Australian driver's licence
- Reliable vehicle
- Comprehensive car insurance
- Professional Indemnity Insurance – minimum $20M
- Public Liability Insurance – minimum $20M
- NSW Working With Children Check
- National Police Check
- Current First Aid + CPR
- Anaphylaxis Training
- Child Protection Awareness Training
